In this project we take a look at the perceptions that everyday Irish people (those that live in Ireland of all cultures) have about the world outside of themselves. I aim to talk to people from all walks of life, and visually engage them in how certain images can provoke memories, thoughts, ideas, aspirations, judgement and recognition. I hope to create an online human patchwork quilt of these thoughts and images, which when put together will show collective beauty, humanity, and humour. I wish to create a visual representation of the current culture in this little country that will be present for future generations and beyond. The aim, to invoke a sense of oneness through art. I hope to make a book of these images alongside the site, as the project unfolds.
